Visualize & Graph Your Gmail activity over time through the website GraphYourInbox.com. Graph Your Inbox is a Google Chrome extension, created by Bill Zeller, a PhD Candidate at Princeton University.
A Google Chrome extension, Graph Your Inbox permits users to visualize and graph G-mail activity over time. It is used to visualize communication with friends, facebook activity, purchase items on Amazon or how often use certain words or phrases. The same search functionality, which is used by G-mail, is provided by it but the difference is that it shows a graph of your email trends over time in place of a list of messages.
A Ph.D. at Princeton University, Bill Zeller created Graph Your Inbox to search a G-mail account by phrases, keywords, sender, receiver or label. The data related to those queries is presented by Graph Your Inbox as a bar graph that charts the number of messages month-by-month and day-by-day. Graph Your Inbox does not access any private data or “phone home” to Google due to it is a free extension. Users need to log into their G-mail account for plug-in to work, and the result are gone after you clear a search query.
G-mail and Google Apps accounts have already migrated to the new opt-in infrastructure obtainable to early adopters. Graph Your Inbox works with G-mail and Google Apps. When users click on a conversation, they are taken directly to that conversation in their inbox that is a nice feature. With some wildcards, query syntaxes would be cool, similar to a way to export some of the data like XML. Users could see with a little bit of work that for businesses, this being a useful tool by which users try to track e-mail campaigns, product inquiries or support requests.
How Do I Use It?

If you face any problem, then ensure that you are logged into G-mail.
Users are allowed to use G-mail with custom domains by Google Apps. If the Google Apps account has been migrated to the new account infrastructure, then Graph Your Inbox will work or else, it will not work.
