Registration for employment exchange is actually very difficult but now it is very easy on the site.
By entering ‘used name’ and ‘password’, the renewal (login) can be done online. To update old registration number, select district and name of employment office, enter registration number and submit it. A temporary ‘used id’ and ‘password’ on submission will be created. The Employment Officer will accept your request within 7 days, if the details are accurate. Once your request accepted, your ID card will be generated and you can take print out and maintain it. From www.tnvelaivaaippu.gov.in website, one can check the status of the application for registration, by entering registration number as ‘user id’ and date of birth as ‘password’ in the Candidate Corner section.
The main vision of the Empower-Employment and Training Department in TamilNadu is to convert the Employment Offices into centers of excellence for Empowerment of youth. The department has presence in every district of TamilNadu apart from Special Employment Offices like Professional and Executive Employment Office, Special Employment Office for Differently Abled, Technical Personnel Office and Coaching – Cum-Guidance Centre for SC & ST, etc.
